The ASXC16 is a high efficiency, HERS tested2 stage compressor that delivers an up to 17 SEER rating to reduce the operating costs of your AC unit. It is ComfortBridge™ technology compatible, so can deliver performance data to a NexGen gas furnace to support automatic adjustments. A high-density foam sound-reduction cover reduces noise to acceptable levels.
Comfort Speed Technology automatically adjusts compressor and fan motor speed. The ASXC16 compressor runs at 100% capacity on extremely hot or cold days, while capacity is reduced when the ambient temperature is milder. A continuously monitored system, it features advanced Copeland® Comfortalert™ diagnostics that identifies trouble points fast, allowing you to seek professional maintenance and repairs before a breakdown occurs.
A galvanized steel enclosure; 5-millimeter, refrigeration-grade copper tubing; and an aluminum fin condenser coil improve durability, while a factory-installed inline filter drier helps extend service life. The system is compatible with Nest home automation products for smartphone control. Like NexGen traditional HVAC units and other products, it is covered by a Lifetime Unit Replacement Warranty and 10-Year Parts Lifetime Warranty for members of our X Protection Family.
